The WellGEO RegRep team at Wellfleet Software is pleased to announce our latest release of WellGEO RegRep 4.5.

New User Interface Features

  • Content specific and customizable icons in various Tree
    explorers
  • Registration Procedures feature set UI functionality
    • Organization Explorer
    • Version Explorer
    • Member
      Explorer
    • Governance sub-menu on Folder Explorer
  • New Directory Tree ImporterWizard to import an entire directory tree in a single operation
  • New Explore Comments action on explorer nodes to explore comments on a RegistryObject
  • New New Comment action in Explore Comments
    dialog to add a new comment to a RegistryObject or its comment
  • Admin UI now displays server stack trace upon exception. This eliminates the need for looking at Web Container log file in most situations when trying to determine the cause for a problem.
  • Tools / Options
    now allows setting ontology context for QueryRequest that uses OWL Profile functions
  • Added Select Tree action on folder explorer
    to display and select entire sub-tree under selected node. This is useful when selecting and deleting an entire folder tree.
  • RegistryObject Editor's XML view is now editable and allows power users to modify the XML for a RegistryObject directly if needed
  • New Create a Subscription Wizard to allow user to subscribe to specific objects

New Server Features

  • Formal support for Glassfish V3 web container in addition to Tomcat 6
  • Versioning improvements to allow multiple branches in
    version tree
  • Registration Procedures feature set
  • Core Canonical Functions support as described by ebRS 4.0 CD4. These functions may be used within query parameters when invoking a stored query.
    • currentUserId - Returns the id of the user
      associated with a registry request
    • currentTime - Returns current time in ISO8601 format
    • relativeTime - Returns a time relative to current time by a specified offset duration
    • personForCurrentUser - Returns person object associated with current user
  • Support for ebXML RegRep Profile for Web Ontologies (OWL)
